# Profile Settings

The **User Profile Settings** page allows you to personalize your EmpowerGPT experience by providing essential details about yourself and your organization. Keeping your profile up to date helps ensure better collaboration, localization, and tailored product interactions.

## Accessing the User Profile Settings

To access the **Profile Settings** page:

1. Click on your **User Name** located at the bottom-left corner of the screen.
2. Select **Settings** from the menu.
3. Navigate to the **Profile** tab from the top navigation bar.

## Profile Information Fields

Within the **Profile** tab, you can add or update the following information:

* **Company** – Specify the name of your organization.
* **Department** – Define the department you belong to (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Operations).
* **Job Role** – Mention your job title or functional role.
* **Country** – Select the country you are located in to customize regional preferences.
* **Language** – Choose your preferred language (English, German, Italian) for the EmpowerGPT interface.

## Security

The **Security** section helps safeguard your account:

* **Change Password** – Update your password regularly to maintain account security.

## Delete Account

If you wish to stop using EmpowerGPT, you can permanently delete your account from the **Profile Settings** page.

* **Delete Account** – This option will permanently remove your account, along with:
  * All documents uploaded in **My Workspace**
  * All your chats

Account deletion is **irreversible**. Once deleted, your data cannot be restored.
